Day of Love

I actually kind of love Valentine's Day. 

What can I say, I'm a sucker for love :)

My Best Friend's Wedding

So Miss Kathryn Norman is now Mrs. Kathryn Teichert.

What a happy weekend it was :)

I'm so happy for Kathryn and Phil.

It really was a great weekend and a beautiful wedding :)

Won't You Be My Honey Bee?

I know I posted this last year, but I only really listen to it on Valentine's Day :)

Today's been really great.

My amazing sister made a perfect breakfast for all of us this morning.

Heart shaped pancakes, heart shaped bananas, paper hearts on the table, and a Valentine's surprise from my mom waiting in all of our places.

Work went well, you could feel the love in the air :)

Then tonight my amazing sister (did I say that already?!) made little heart shaped pizzas, and we ate our heart shaped brownies and chocolate dipped marshmallows.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't love Valentine's Day.

I think it's a great reminder to really cherish the loved ones in your life.

Weddings, Weddings, Weddings

My best friend, Miss Kathryn Norman (soon-to-be Teichert) gets married in 6 days.

My best friend, Miss Haley Adams (soon-to-be Jenkins) gets married in 34 days.

I'm so happy for them :)

And that's just two out of the five weddings I'll be attending this year.

Next up, Miss Ellen Jaynes.

Then, my cousins Michael and Scott.

Busy, busy year!

She's so big, I can't even believe it.

I love that little girl so much, and I wish her the best 4th birthday a girl could ask for!

Dear Boys,

You have it so easy and you don't even know.

Here's my case:

Boy likes girl.

Boy asks girl on date.

Girl knows that boy likes girl.

Girl likes boy.

Girl sits around waiting for boy to ask girl on date.

Boy doesn't know that girl likes boy.

This is the one reason that I wish I wasn't such an old fashioned girl.

Unfortunately, I like to do things the traditional way :)

What a Nightmare

Last weekend I had three friends get married.

Three friends that graduated the same day that I did.

It's no surprise that last night I had a nightmare (quite literally...) about me getting married.

It was my wedding day and I woke up late.

My ex-boyfriend and his mother were coming to my wedding (what?!).

I didn't have my dress.

I didn't have my recommend from my bishop.

My ex-boyfriend and his mother planned a nightclub themed ceremony in the WalMart/Albertson's parking lot.

My best friend was laying on the couch watching TV instead of fixing this disaster of a wedding.

And as Cady Groves would say, "This is the part where I realize that I'm alone..."

Yeah, I had lost my groom.

It's a good thing I'm nowhere near marriage, because I'm already running in the opposite direction.

Stealing toilet paper from DQ because 604 ran out...

Nik Day concerts, Chocolate parties, and feeling 

lazy because my two best friends ran a 5K, while

I sat at work for four hours

Getting a nice, fat, paycheck!

ITunes knowing that exactly 

which song I wanted to hear next

Writing a story about Emily during church... :0

Rolling out of bed, taking my retainer 

out, brushing my teeth and walking out

the door to work, and then napping at

one in the afternoon :)

Never-ending poke wars with Haley Adams

Coming down with a sudden and 

very severe case of the Bieber fever...

I never thought that would happen

Getting back rubs, arm scratches, and hand

massages from like four different people

Holding hands with my BEFF while watching Inception

Finding mayonnaise and a c.d in the snow

"It's a beer bottle... it's mayonnaise!"

"It's REAL mayonnaise!"

Getting in arguments over whether or not the 

totem stops spinning at the end of Inception

"Is this real life...?"

Talking about what it would be like to be a

 boy. "Would you wear boxers, or briefs..?"

Looking at the brand new Nauvoo apartments,

with massive t.v's that will be mounted on the walls,

huge bathrooms, and a bed without a manhole

and......

....having a single's awareness day party with my two favorite 

Valentines, Haley Adams and Emily Chandia, and watching

Romeo and Juliet while pigging out on chocolate that we bought

ourselves, because we don't have anybody to love.

(I told you I caught a pretty severe case of the Bieber fever...)

So,

Happy Valentine's Day! 

If you have a significant other, well good for you and congratulations.

If you're celebrating Single's Awareness Day instead, soak it all up. Hopefully you won't be single long :)

I think it's safe to say it's been an absolutely amazing weekend. I couldn't ask for better friends.
